Terms and Conditions

  1. Sweet Smelling Wax is an independent small business and, as such, some shapes, scents or colours may be unavailable at specific times. We endeavour to provide up to date information on availability but this is not always possible. Users are encouraged to contact Sweet Smelling Wax before placing an order to ensure availability.
  2. To request an order, users must fill out the form on the Contact page. Filling out the form does not constitute placing an order and any missing information will mean the form submission is ignored. Once the order request has been approved, the customer will be informed by Sweet Smelling Wax of the price and a request to pay. An order only becomes binding between the customer and Sweet Smelling Wax once payment has been made in full. 
  3. Any wedding or party favours must be ordered at least six weeks (42 days) in advance.
  4. Payment is by PayPal, invoice or bank transfer in advance. Other payment methods may be available, email info@sweetsmellingwax.com before ordering if required.
  5. Customers will receive receipt in the form of an email. Customers are encouraged to keep this email in case of damages/loss during transit.
  6. Production of an order does not begin until 24 hours after payment has been made in full through the agreed upon payment method. Sweet Smelling Wax reserves the right at any time to cancel an order and refund any payment made against that order. 
  7. All orders will be posted by Royal Mail First Class. Occasionally, a signature may be required but, in these cases, this will be communicated to the customer promptly.
  8. Delivery estimates given by Sweet Smelling Wax are not guarantees. Sweet Smelling Wax aims to deliver all orders as quickly as possible however this may not always be possible. As much as possible, Sweet Smelling Wax will communicate any delays to customers. Any customer who does not receive communication from Sweet Smelling Wax and does not receive their order 28 days after payment will be eligible for a full refund. 
  9. Customers who wish to send a container for reuse or wax to recycle should contact Sweet Smelling Wax before sending. Any unnanounced delivery will be rejected by Sweet Smelling Wax. Postage of these items will be covered by the sender of the container/recycled wax and steps are taken to ensure that this is sent safely and securely as Sweet Smelling Wax is not liable for any damage caused during transit.
  10. Customers will receive receipt in the form of an email. Customers are encouraged to keep this email in case of damages/loss during transit.
  11. Once customer receives the product, they have up to 5 working days to report any damage received in transit and request a refund or replacement. Photographic proof of damage and proof of purchase required. 
  12. All candles are made with soy mix wax but, upon request, can be made using gel wax. Only wooden
  13. Candles and wax melts can get extremely hot and dangerous and individuals are encouraged to keep them out of reach of children and animals as well as use them responsibly. Sweet Smelling Wax is not liable for any injuries or damage caused by the misuse or misappropriation of its products.
